This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, assembling and repairing furniture, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and professional work environment. Flexibility with scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is required.
Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Associate will be expected to perform a wide range of duties to support daily warehouse operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently using proper lifting techniques
- Move, stack, organize, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Assemble, disassemble, and repair furniture and related items as needed
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
- Prepare products for storage, shipment, or delivery according to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, loading docks, and work areas
- Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Operate basic warehouse equipment and tools safely (training provided if required)
- Assist with inventory organization and basic stock handling
- Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and other departments
- Report damaged items, safety concerns, or equipment issues to management promptly
- Perform additional warehouse-related tasks as assigned
Physical Requirements
This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to perform manual labor on a regular basis. Candidates must be capable of meeting the following physical requirements:
- Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 100 pounds
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift
- Perform repetitive motions, including lifting and assembling items
- Work in varying warehouse conditions, including temperature changes and moderate noise levels
Candidates should be comfortable working on their feet for the majority of the workday and able to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
Work Schedule
