Amazon XL Warehouse Equipment Operator JOB ID 1302

You’ll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that handles the big and heavy stuff—those unique customer orders that require powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move around the warehouse: big screen TVs, furniture, appliances, and more. Whether you’re interested in working as a forklift operator, equipment operator, order picker, or reach truck operator, this position is perfect—you’ll use powered industrial trucks (PIT) to move, stow, and retrieve extra-large items throughout the warehouse. You will learn to expertly handle packages and products before they are sent along their delivery route

  1. Operate PIT at heights up to 45 feet
  2. Use PIT to locate, retrieve, and store large inventory items and customer orders in their designated warehouse locations

You’ll also need to be able to

  1. Lift up to 49 pounds
  2. Use safe practices and methods to handle products heavier than 50 pounds
  3. Stand and walk, as well as push, pull, squat, bend, and reach frequently during shifts
  4. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
  5. Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
  6. Meet daily performance goals while following all safety procedures
