United Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dependable PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support patient care across a variety of healthcare settings. As a PRN CNA, you will provide high-quality, hands-on care, support clinical teams, and ensure patients comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient observations accurately
- Support nurses and healthcare providers with routine clinical tasks
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with care plans
- Respond promptly to patient needs, call lights, and safety concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary patient environment
- Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
Experience
- Previous experience as a CNA in a hospital, long-term care, rehabilitation, or home health setting is preferred
- New graduates with valid certification and strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
Working Hours
- PRN (as-needed) basis with highly flexible scheduling
- Day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts available
